Ethiopia is the primary center of origin of the Arabica coffee plant. Coffee Arabica has been growing wild int the forest of the Southwestern Highlands of Kaffa and Buro districts of Ethiopia for thousands of years.
Yirgacheffee Specialty Coffee is one of the best highland-grown coffees. It has fine acidity, body, and flavor. Many people are attracted to its delicate, floral, and tea-like characteristics.
Roasting Type: Medium-Dark - Rich, darker color with some oil on the surface. Bittersweet aftertaste. Flavor and aroma emerge and acidity disappears completely.
Yield: 12 oz bag of whole beans or ground coffee gives 62 cups of 9 oz approximately.
